$29/month per plan advertised · digital letters · no parcels

Personal vs Business Virtual Address: which one fits?
Bizee officially offers Personal Virtual Address and Business Virtual Address as distinct products. A sole proprietor receiving mail in their own legal name can use Personal; mail addressed to a company name calls for the Business plan. A DBA or trade name alone does not allow the Personal plan to receive mail under that separate name.
| Consideration | Personal Virtual Address | Business Virtual Address |
|---|---|---|
| Advertised price | $29/month | $29/month |
| Typical fit | Individuals, travelers, freelancers and sole proprietors receiving mail in their own name | LLCs and businesses receiving mail under a company name |
| Addressed to | Customer's legal personal name | Enrolled business name |
| Mail management | Digital scanning and storage; Personal page advertises unlimited incoming mail | Digital scanning of eligible business correspondence |
| Parcels or ordinary physical forwarding | No parcels; not a general forwarding service | No parcels; not a general forwarding service |
| Residency or Registered Agent | Does not establish residential domicile | Does not replace Registered Agent service or guarantee acceptance for regulated uses |
Bizee states that Personal and Business are separate signups if you need both. Always confirm eligibility and supported recipient names before purchase.
What you actually get for $29 per month
Bizee's proposition is mail-as-documents rather than mail-as-parcels. The service receives eligible letters under the selected Personal or Business name, scans their contents and makes them available through a digital dashboard. Its public materials describe secure digital records and new-mail notifications. You are paying primarily for remote document access, not a full-service physical mailing warehouse.
Routine letters online
A practical way to read vendor correspondence, administrative notices and ordinary business letters without retrieving the original envelopes.
More predictable scanning
Bizee advertises one $29 monthly fee instead of charging for every mail item. Confirm current terms rather than assuming that every special request is included.
Business-oriented addresses
Bizee says it selects one staffed facility per available state. It is not a marketplace offering hundreds of address choices in each metro.
LLC formation available
Bizee also sells company formation and Registered Agent services. They are related purchasing decisions, but not the same product as a virtual mailbox.
Three restrictions you should understand first
1. No packages — even small ones
Bizee explicitly says its Virtual Address service accepts only letters and large envelopes. A founder who receives sample products, returned merchandise, office supplies or e-commerce parcels should use a more conventional mailbox with documented package handling.
2. Ordinary letters are not forwarded to you
Most of the mail is intended to be read digitally, not shipped to a different address. The exception Bizee describes is forwarding eligible checks and credit/debit cards to a U.S. address. That is not equivalent to a general domestic or international forwarding account. Confirm any exceptional handling before subscribing.
3. Physical originals are not kept indefinitely
Bizee says paper mail is normally securely shredded within 1–2 weeks after digitization. If you need original contracts, signed certificates, notarized originals or other irreplaceable documents, ask how those items will be handled before allowing mail to arrive. Digital scans are not a substitute for every legally necessary original.
Bizee pricing and a real-cost example
Both Personal Virtual Address and Business Virtual Address are advertised at $29 per month each, or $348 over twelve months per subscription at unchanged rates. They are separate products, not two recipient categories included in one $29 subscription. Bizee advertises one free month with qualifying business formation; this should not be assumed for a standalone Personal subscription.
| Use case | Bizee known subscription cost | Important assumption |
|---|---|---|
| Personal: routine letters in your legal name, viewed digitally | $29/mo | Eligible personal mail; no parcels or routine physical forwarding |
| Business: 12 ordinary company letters, four digital reads | $29/mo | Business plan, eligible letters, no chargeable exceptions |
| A full year of the address at list price | $348/year | 12 months at $29; no taxes or additional products |
| One promotional month with qualifying formation | Potentially $319 for 12 months | Only if the promotion provides one full $29 month free and all remaining months are $29 |
| Any business needing parcel reception or regular letter forwarding | Not comparable | These services are excluded, not simply an extra fee in the $29 model |
That last row is essential. A calculator should not portray Bizee as the cheapest option if the shopper needs services Bizee does not provide. For apples-to-apples postage and package comparisons, use our Real Cost Calculator with full-service mailbox providers.
Bizee LLC formation and Registered Agent: three different products
A new founder can consider Bizee for LLC formation as well as mail scanning, but the charges and legal functions should be kept separate. A registered agent receives service of process and official legal notices at a qualifying in-state address; a general CMRA mailbox does not automatically act as your Registered Agent.
| Bizee product | Published headline | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Virtual Business Address | $29/month | Company-name mail and digital scanning; no parcels or routine forwarding |
| Personal Virtual Address | $29/month | Mail addressed to your legal name, including qualifying sole-proprietor mail |
| LLC formation — Basic | $0 service fee + mandatory state filing fee | Preparation and filing of formation documents; options and additional products vary by plan/state |
| Registered Agent with qualifying formation | First year included | Separate statutory role; check renewal price before ordering |
| Standalone Registered Agent | $149/year on the current public page | Receiving legal notices and maintaining an eligible agent contact |
Published Bizee pages contain some older Registered Agent renewal prices. Because those figures are not uniform across its website, we use its current standalone headline of $149/year and advise checking the actual renewal price in the applicable order flow. State filing fees are separate and differ by state.

Bizee vs. traditional virtual mailbox providers
| Provider | Published entry context | Packages / originals | When to consider it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bizee | $29/month Personal or Business, separately | No packages; no routine physical forwarding | Scanned letters for individuals or company correspondence, using the correct plan |
| VirtualPostMail | $20/month Starter | Physical mail handling and forwarding on request; specific fees apply | Business mail where occasional physical originals and check-handling workflows matter |
| iPostal1 | Virtual Business Address from $14.99/month | Location-specific mailbox and package options | Specific city choice and local pickup / forwarding subject to location rules |
| PostScan Mail | Starter from $10/month, eligibility dependent | Packages and shipping options; fees and locations vary | Mixed letters, packages and physical forwarding |
The prices above are different service categories: a lower-priced conventional mailbox may charge for interior scanning, while Bizee focuses on digital business mail and excludes parcels. Compare against what you actually need rather than simply the monthly headline. Browse our LLC address comparison and small-business guide.
Who should consider Bizee?
- Good potential fit: individuals who want digital access to letters, sole proprietors receiving mail under their own legal name, and founders seeking a company mailing address (under the Business plan).
- Consider alternatives: a small retailer, ecommerce seller, RVer, expat who needs international forwarding, or anybody who routinely needs paper originals.
- Verify carefully: a non-U.S. founder choosing a specific U.S. state, opening a business bank account, seeking proof of a physical operating address, or relying on a legal Registered Agent appointment.
Bizee Virtual Address FAQs
How much do the Bizee Personal and Business addresses cost?
Both are advertised at $29/month, each as a separate subscription. Twelve months at that rate equal $348 per address before taxes and other services.
Can I use Bizee Personal Virtual Address as a sole proprietor?
Yes, if the mail arrives in your legal personal name. Bizee says a separate DBA name cannot be used as the addressee on a Personal plan; use the appropriate Business service when receiving mail under a company name.
Does Bizee Personal Virtual Address establish residency?
No. Bizee states that a personal virtual address cannot establish legal residence or domicile.
Does Bizee accept packages?
No. Bizee says it accepts letters and large envelopes, not parcels of any size.
Can Bizee forward all my physical mail?
No. Routine letters are scanned rather than physically forwarded. Bizee describes forwarding exceptions for checks and credit/debit cards sent to a U.S. address.
Does Bizee shred my original letters?
Its published policy says physical mail is normally shredded one to two weeks after scanning, so important originals need special consideration.
Does the address work for LLC registration?
It may be suitable for certain permitted business mailing-address uses, but state filing fields differ. Verify the exact address and field with the state; the mailbox does not substitute for Registered Agent service.
Is Registered Agent included with Virtual Address?
No. Registered Agent is a different service. Bizee advertises one year included with qualifying formation packages and a separately priced standalone agent service.
What does Bizee LLC formation cost?
The Basic formation service is advertised at $0 plus mandatory state filing fees. Standard and Premium packages cost more and offer additional services.
Is Bizee Virtual Address suitable for someone outside the U.S.?
Possibly, subject to identity verification, address availability and the person's use case. Bizee's exceptional physical forwarding is to a U.S. address, so it is not a substitute for international mail forwarding.
Will a bank accept my Bizee address?
Do not assume so. Even where an address is valid for mailing, a bank may request separate verification of the actual business premises or owner. Ask the bank first.
Is there a free month?
Bizee advertises one month of Virtual Address service free with qualifying business formation. Eligibility and activation terms must be confirmed during checkout.
