PO Box Zone Review: Nevada & Wyoming Mail Forwarding

A focused Nevada-and-Wyoming service with unusually low annual pricing, inexpensive document scans, six-name support and straightforward mailout fees. It is especially compelling when you actually want one of its two street-address markets rather than a huge national network.

What makes PO Box Zone different?

Despite the brand name, PO Box Zone says its service uses street addresses rather than traditional P.O. boxes. Its current address network is deliberately small: Las Vegas, Nevada and Casper, Wyoming. That makes it less useful for someone shopping for hundreds of cities, but much more interesting when one of those two states is exactly what you want.

What we like — and what we do not

Pros

  • Low $99/year entry plan
  • Street addresses in Las Vegas and Casper
  • Up to 6 verified names
  • Low-cost scanning and international forwarding
  • Packages accepted from USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL
  • Mail stored for up to 6 months

Cons

  • Only Nevada and Wyoming addresses
  • Annual billing on published plans
  • International shipments add a published $10 customs-handling fee
  • Not designed for users who need a large nationwide address network

Best use case: Nevada or Wyoming users who actually forward mail

PO Box Zone is not trying to win on nationwide location count. Its appeal is the opposite: a focused service with low annual subscription pricing and a simple forwarding model. The Low plan works best when you forward infrequently; the Moderate plan lowers the handling fee; the High plan becomes more interesting for frequent mailouts.

MailboxScout take: this is a strong niche option for travelers, RVers, expats and small businesses that specifically want Nevada or Wyoming. If city choice matters more than forwarding economics, a large network such as iPostal1 or Anytime Mailbox may fit better.

Scanning, cloud access and shredding

PO Box Zone offers selective or automatic scanning. Its published scan schedule is unusually easy to understand: $1 for a 1–10 page letter, $2 for 11–20 pages and $3 for 21–30 pages. Scanned documents can be accessed in the account and the provider advertises integrations with cloud-storage services. Users can also request shredding of unwanted mail.

International forwarding

The service says it can forward mail worldwide except to embargoed countries. Its terms also publish an additional $10 handling fee for international shipments that require customs declarations. Postage itself remains destination-, carrier-, weight- and size-dependent.

USPS Form 1583 and additional names

PO Box Zone requires USPS Form 1583 before it can receive mail for a customer. Each person or entity needs its own authorization, and additional recipient names require their own verification. This is normal CMRA-style onboarding and should not be confused with establishing a residential address.

Privacy & Mail Handling Security

Open & Scan necessarily means authorized staff may handle and open mail when requested. PO Box Zone states that scanning is performed by staff with an emphasis on privacy, and its terms explicitly authorize opening mail for scanning when that feature is used. As with every provider, this is operational privacy — not attorney-client, medical or other legally privileged confidentiality.
